Best Vid card for 4.6 ?

Hi folks, long time no see.
I am planning on setting up a new, second computer with 4.6 on it.
(My current one has 4.5, I have decided to complete a few projects with the old set up and old scenes and content, then start anew.)
Does any one have any recommendations for a Vid card that will work nicely with 4.6?
My old computer has an Invidia, FX series in it, it's good but I wonder if any one knows about any new product that really jives with Daz?

Plus I find I must always render with Deep Shadow Map not the software renderer beneath it. (Instant crash) (I forget its name now)

Cheers to all.

    Thanx for the reply
I seem to remember paying $200 or $250 last time.
My old Comp is 4 ram with XP
Now I plan to go Win 7 with 4 to 8 Ram.

Considering the fact 3Delight is a CPU render engine your GPU is only used for the Viewport and the OpenGL Render modes. So If you need good OpenGL renders the GPU will matter. Otherwise RAM is the most needed item for 3DeLight Renders so the CPU has enough free ram to render with.

RAM is more important than the video card. 8 GB of RAM is the min you should consider, and 16 or 32 GB would be much better.

A video card with a solid OpenGL implementation and 1-2 GB of RAM should be fine for DAZ. Some of the integrated video on computer boards don't have a solid OpenGL implementation, but I think any of the NVida or ATI cards should.

You may not need a graphics card at all. A friend of mine created a custom PC for me about 18 months ago with an MSI motherboard. This supports 1080P graphics and Open GL. I have no problems running DAZ Studio 4.6 on it.

I have noted, however, that the Garibaldi Express hair plug-in has a list of compliant graphics cards in its hardware requirements. There may be other plug-ins with similar requirements.

As noted by the previous posters, if you have no special requirements, my advice would be to spend your money on more memory.
