How to Create a Skydome/HDRI Lighting in Daz?

I'm a newbie to 3d rendering, so I've only been using Daz Studio for about two months and I love the program alot. But I've been searching high and low for a simple tutorial explaining how to create a sky dome and add HDRI lighting to it. Based on some forum threads I've combed through, I've gotten as far as creating a sphere primitive and adding tiff image (rendered from VUE) to the color and ambient channels, but I still cannot see my sky dome in the final render. As far as the lighting, I know that UberEnvironment can be used for that somehow, but I'm not quite sure on the process.
Can anyone provide a simple, step by step method to do all this?

Uber Environment 2 included in Daz Studio uses HDRI converted into Tiff and uses the Tiff as a light source. Unfortunately unlike other programs the HDRI/Tiff will not be visible for rendering. Dimension Theory's HDRI products for UE2 include a Sky Dome with textures that match the HDRI/Tiff light source. However UE2 is best used in conjunction with an additional light source, for example a distant light as the sun. Again DT's products contain a matching distant light.
adam made a very long UE2 tutorial but well worth the read IMHO http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/5320/
Alternatively I think the Shader Mixer can be used to make your own but that is beyond my knowledge.
Thanks for the response! I purchased one of the skydomes available in the store and I've tweaked it to my specific setup, but that link on UE was very useful nonetheless. Also saw your tutorial on Area Lights and that was very helpful too, so thanks!
