FireFox doesn't display emoticons in these forums

Hello. Does anybody know if there's a Firefox addon that I need so as to see emoticons in these posts?

They show up properly when I read the forum with my iPad and iPhone, and Internet Explorer, but my first-choice browser on my workstation is Firefox.

Do you have NoScript for FF?

    I have 26.0

I don't know. If it's an addon, I don't think I installed it, but how do I check this?

Easiest method, type about:addons in the url bar and hit enter. I don't know if it would be under Plugins or Extensions.

I'm very surprised you are getting smileys anywhere - there's a setting for smileys, not available to users for some reason though I can see it on the admin side, and on your account it's set to off. I going to assume you want it on and change it for you.

That's interesting Richard. I wonder why they wouldn't give a general forum user (non-Admin) that option in our Control Panel? I would think it would be one of the Preferences we can select (or deselect) as we wish, or just have it set to "on" for everybody by default.

I assume it's just an oversight. Since the forums are slated for replacement it didn't seem worth pursuing when it was recently discovered.

Very true. Any word as to when we're getting the new forum software?
