it would be awesome if someone could create more alien like sky domes and back drops like in the images below. Make it look to where mega cities are really just images against sky domes, but they might be in different layers for different camera angles. Sky domes or backdrops with high island mountains with built in hotels or apartments hanging out like the buildings grew out from the cliffs. Or even sky domes and backdrops that have very realistic planets in the stunning sky as if it was a photo and not cartoon looking. Or best of all, a huge set with several sky domes and backdrops with building sets or half created islands that when the full scene is loaded, it looks like the real thing and totally completed scenes. Trick of the camera eye. So the scene would look totally full and rich like in these images below. Partial 3D objects and the rest is backdrops.

many do already but often is a question if it is a derivative work if redistributed
certainly not wrong to render a 360 backdrop, most of those look as if done in Vue, but how many sell them is another matter,
Renderosity seems to have more people selling backgrounds and backdrops as Daz store tends to sell models and such things can be a competing product if using another PA's model.
