Duke Hair

I chose Duke hair in the scene tab at the top level then went to materials to change color, however all of the hairs change color. Most of them change but some of them remain. I have tried clicking on the ones that remain black and changing color, but the same hairs keep changing.

Try rendering -I think you will find that that's just the preview not giving a true representation.

This is the render. I still see black hair and now the teeth show through along with other anomalies.
