Symmetry function

I'm still really new to DAZ, but I'm getting inconsistent results when using the Symmetry function. Getting this figured out will save me a ton of time as I'm creating multiple exercise poses for a client.

I'm using the Genesis 2 female form and I've gone back to a Zero figure to experiment. It seems like when I "free form" it (i.e. drag a limb to pose), the symmetry function works for the other side of the body. If I dial in specific bends, twists, etc., I get unpredictable results on the other side.

Dragging limbs will not work on a regular basis. I need to be pretty precise in how I'm bending parts of the body, so the controls are much easier to use for that.

Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

If you use any of the "Pose Control" sliders then Symmetry won't work on them, if you pose the limbs by adjusting their own rotation controls directly it will (or should, at any rate).

Thanks! I'll give that a try and see if that fixes my issue. I know I've used both types of controls.

That was the answer. Symmetry works as expected when using the individual pose controls. This will save me a tremendous amount of time (and frustration). Thanks!
