dB Animation Kit 1 for Millennium Dragon 2 And Carrara Pro 8.5 Test

A quick test using dB Animation Kit 1 for Millennium Dragon 2's lurch walk cycle NLA clip in Carrara 8.5. I like the results much more than the previous DAZ Studio tests. The rendering is much quicker (only 3 sec per fame) and the quality is so much better.

I am not sure yet if the animation in Carrara pro 8.5 is easier than DAZ Studio, as all the animation is from the dB Animation Kit 1 for Millennium Dragon 2’s lurch walk cycle NLA clip. This test helped me understand NLA clips and how to loop them. I also love the added effects such as clouds and light rays in Carrara 8.5 Pro.

Many more experiments will help clarify the benefits and problems of each program. =)

I haven't figured out how to get rid of the stutter on the loops yet. But I am loving Carrara's surfaces and effects, plus the render speed is so much faster than DAZ Studio.

Another Test of Carrara 8.5 and dB Animation Kit 1 for Millennium Dragon 2's NLA clips. This time I tried to get rid of the stutter in the loop and applied that loop cycle on a motion path. There is also some reflection testing =)

Another Test of Carrara 8.5 and dB Animation Kit 1 for Millennium Dragon 2's NLA clips.

This time I combined everything I have learned from my previous tests. The audio is processed through MIMIC PRO and imported into DAZ STUDIO and then imported into CARRARA 8.5. The lip sync is made into a NLA (nonlinear animation) clip and applied over the dB Animation Kit 1 for Millennium Dragon 2's NLA's.

Another Test of Carrara 8.5 and Millennium Dragon 2.
This time using Mill SubDragon Animation Max Set (http://www.medhueanimations.com/products/subdragon-animation-presets). I just imported the frames from Daz Studio into Carrara 8.5 and converted them to NLA clips. Then applied them to an existing scene and objects. Total production time 1.5 hours (total 10 min render).

I love these animations. They are for Mill SubDragon but they also seem to work with Millennium Dragon 2.
