For instance, If I made an interesting face that I think that I would like to use in the future. Can i save the facial, then apply just add that morph, while not changing the whole body etc of the new character ( Given that the characters are all Gen2)... ?

Yes, just make your morph and save it as Morph Asset(s). The saved morph will save just the difference/changes from original figure. If you changed just the face, morph will change just the face.

Is it a morph made by directly manipulating the mesh or by setting existing morphs? For the former ben is right, for the latter save a Shaping preset and use the options dialogue to save only the desired settings - there's an option menu button half-way down on the right that will let select only used values.

What if you want to save part of a full body morph? I like the head from the Dino-Rex, but I want to use it without the body.. In the Shaping options it doesn't let you just select the shape of the head...

To do something like that you'd need to use a modeller that will allow you to partially apply a morph, which I would do in modo but I think Blender will serve. Export both the base and the morph as OBJ, apply the morphed shape as a morph to the base in the modeller, and then create a new morph by selectively applying that to only the parts you want affected, then tidy up any problems at the join.

Yeeaahhh.. I figured it would be something like that.. Looks like I'll just be using two models, one with just the head showing parented to the model with the right body and the head hidden..
