Interior models and Element 3D

Hi all! I'm really new to all the 3D stuff. I just downloaded DAZ, but I'm really interested in using some 3D interior models inside After Effects with the Element 3D plug-in. I saw a Youtube video where a guy used them that way. Is there any special techniques or things you have to do? I know they need to be the .obj versions, but what the textures, etc.? Models made for Element come already modeled with textures. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Phil

You use DAZ Studio to setup the things you wanna use with content, like putting a vase with flowers on a table, then you export that "scene" as a .obj file with textures. You will get a folder named Maps and outside that the .obj and the .mat file. Those can then be imported into you aftereffects or other program to be rendered there. Remember though you cannot "send" the mesh or textures to someone, but a rendered film is ok.
