Genesis to Genesis 2 female clothing

I have some clothes from my genesis model that will not load onto genesis 2 female. Whenever I go to click on the material it acts like it wants to load, as in the grey loading files boxes flash across the screen but, the material clothes do not appear. I do make sure the character is loaded and selected and I have tried to use the material from both the smart content pane and from the content files directly. No dice. Anyone have suggestions?

It sounds like you're trying to load materials as clothing? The actual clothing files are outside the material folder (although they are also .duf format).
