Storyboard Quick

Saw Storyboard Quick pop up in the DAZ store recently. For anyone interested in this software, I Would NOT Recommend. They have the most horrible customer service of any company I have dealt with.

Case in point, I purchased their software less than a year ago and when I upgraded to Mavericks a couple months ago, Storyboard Quick was one of the only products that I had an issue with getting re-activated. The software reinstalled properly and Mavericks sees it as a compatible Application. The application loads perfectly and works in-trial mode as if not registered. But when I tried to re-activate and to re-enter my serial # it ran into an issue validating the product key with their servers. Rather than provide me with a new working Serial # and key like Adobe or Microsoft would do in this case, their answer to me was that I needed to re-purchase the application all over again. They didn't even offer to give me a discount or credit for my original purchase.

Horrible service and totally worthless application.

If you are looking to Story Board for film I can tell you that DAZ and Photoshop is truly all you need. I have used DAZ to help a director story board re-shoots for a film that I was the editor on. DAZ is such an awesome tool to be able to pre-vis your lighting and camera angles and to communicate what you want exactly and hand that off to the Director of Photography. Storyboard Quick is a useless clip art application and a total waste of money. And if you need one sheets or storyboard templates I would just do a quick Google search and you will find lots of templates.

Thanks for the heads up :)
I was orienting for a storyboard for a project.
Looking into Toon Boom now, any experience with that?
Always did it on paper but I have been wanting to get rid of the paper stacks so that's why I want to try a digital approach.
