First excuse my bad english , but it's not my mother tongue.
Ok you download the” DAZ3DIM…..exe” and execute it.
After license, the program ask where install it.
I have choosing a file, on side my old “DAZStudio4” folder and name it “DAZ3DIM1”.
After succeed installation, open the program with the “Shortcut”on Desktop and login your account.
Now it’s important going first to “Settings”, that’s the cogwheel on right side up.
Click there“Downloads” and choose your downloadfolder for the installfiles by click on browserbutton.(that’s not the programfolder)
I choose a new file in the” DAZ3DIM1”folder and name it “Downloads”.
Click now upside “Application”, there now stay your installed old “DAZStudio” applications.
Check the right path or change it if you have installed by click on browserbutton
Now click on “Installation”.There now choose your programfolder, by click on the browserbutton. You can choose there the folderpath for 64bit or 32bit system. Remember that’s the “Install Manager” build a folderstructure that’s look: ”Your choosing folder or disk-> /DAZ 3D-> /DAZStudio4” for installation. That’s important if you want the same programfolder how the last “DAZStudio4” installation, for use your installed pluginfiles.I have that way installed and it works. If you have an old “DAZStudio4” installation, make a backup from installationfolder(its better to have a savefile,if you make crap, reinstall old version and overwrite) and deinstall it, or use both version if any Plugin not work with new version.(Don't deinstall the Content Manager) Now there be left an folder with “Plugins”in the installationfolder.
Back to the “Install Manager”, click now for the“Shortcuts”if need.
Downside now stay, “Install to selected Path” klick on it.
Now we change the “Content” folderpath.
Click the "+Button" downside. In the popup "Label" write "Content" or however you want to name it.
On "Path" click browserbutton and change there where you want the “Install Manager” install the contentfiles.
That’s important choosing a folder or disk with huge space for all the following Content.(I have now over time 200GB stuff.)
If you now first time installed “DAZ3DStudio” you can name the folder “My Library”,but old files and Installations using “Content” for foldername.
I have choosing my old "Content"-folder on another disk with enough space.(In my old “Content”-folder are the folders “Runtime”, “People”, ”Data” and more DAZ3D and Poser folderstructure, if anyone interested it)
Klick "Accept" for close the popup.
Now mark with click the first first-old path and delete it by click on the"- Button" downside.
Now your first ready with it and click downside “Accept” and close the “Settings”
Click now "Ready to Download"
Mark “Install After Download” if not marked.
There now stay the Installationfiles that you can use. (If you have the Content from last “DAZStudio4 “don’t use the “Genesis 1" files or they named with "(2)" in the contentlibrary.)
Ok all the downloads and installations now run automatic. If ready you can start DAZStudio4.

PS.Inside program go first upside on "Window->Panes(Tabs)->Content Library",without you can't build your own Content Libary to use thirdsoftware.

The 32 bit and 64 bit paths should not be the same as that runs the risk of overwriting one version with the other - those paths are for applications, with the folder for the specific application added to the path you set, not for content.

There's no need to edit the file manually to set the path for content - just click the + button at the bottom of the Installation tab in preferences to add a new location, or click the - button to remove an unwanted location.
