I'm getting a Yellow Triangle in the Default Lights and Shaders for Daz Studios - I tried un installing and re installing but it does the same thing - Is their a log some where I can trace it down or does any one have an idea.
I have daz studio 4.6 in my install manager - I already have it installed - Should I run this download anyway -

Often all those triangles mean is it can't find its icon ... if the product works, I don't worry about them. Seem to come and go with no logic.
There was an update awhile back, if you have the latest 4.6 with the working erc controls and all that, then you can 'hide' the message. Think it was a right-click option. I would suggest at least downloading a copy though and saving the zip to a storage device in case you want it later on.
Sounds to me as if you have a OLD hand install in the SAME content folder as the Update installed by DIM. That or you have Two content folders with the same content in both.
It looks like there's a mistake in the metadata -- the file name for the icon is wrong, so it isn't displaying, but the content works fine.
I have same problem.
How about the others?
How we test if the PRODUCT works fine?
PS: I am new.......

Testing if a product works ... well I find the icon for certain body parts tends to keep going awol, but if I click on the placeholder, the folders still appear and will load when double-clicked. So whether or not the real icon displays doesn't necessarily concern me.
If the name of the icon and 'exactly' the right address in the file aren't made correctly in the first place, that is a very good reason why things won't display. QC .... hmmm ....
