Smash a Building in 3D
Hi everyone,
So I'm looking to make a scene where a building is being smashed by a giant monster. Kind of like in a Godzilla movie.
So taking something like Stonemason's Urban Sprawl 2 props, and smashing them appart. I've got DAZ Studio Pro 4.6, and Carrara 8 (NOT Carrara pro 8.5!) but I can't seem to find any tutorials on how to use the physics engine for something like this. Any tutorials or help would be greatly appreciated.

I know this can be animated well in iClone with their "destructable props" including a smashable wall by warrior.
Well, I don't have iClone 5. Although, I checked my product library again and I do have Hexagon 2.5. So if there are any destruction tutorials for that I'd be interested in them too.
Powerage (on 'sosity) has some building props that have destruction morphs if that helps
On the Osity site search for Breaking the... I have most and they are nice.
I have been playing with the cell fracture feature in Blender.
What you see here is a wall from Stonemason's 'Faded Industry' but the debris is from the same wall.
I only know some basic stuff in Blender; obviously I have no clue in texturing...
@Tjeb: That looks like what I'm looking for but unfortunately I don't have blender. I only have Daz Studio, Carara and Hexagon.
Blender is free!
