Tool tips, pins etc

I know that the description is a little misleading, but i cant think of anything else. When i am posing a figure and using the universal tool, which i do all the time, rarely using anything else, i have the pin and the little figure showing on the tool icon. Is there a way to turn these off, I know how to turn off tool tips, but cant seem to find a way to get rid of these.

    You need to go to Window > Tabs (Panes) > Tool Settings, with the Universal Tool selected. At the very top of the Tool Settings window, you will see Manipulator and Line Width, next to them is Home Menu and Pins Menu, click on the Enable box on both, and they should toggle to off.

    Hope that works for you, it does it for me.

    It works for me too, thank you very much. These things are well hidden, but then its a complex thing so not surprising...

    My pleasure, the Tool Settings menu is worth remembering about, it can be very handy at times.
