Whenever you're working in Daz you're seeing a very quick and dirty OpenGL render. It can create confusing artifacts that don't show up in a proper render. You get used to them after awhile.
Not that I know of. The transmap for the item needs to be there or the item will not work. It is something we all just get used to when working in DAZ Studio.

Is that possible to minimize the difference between "Viewport" and "render window"?
