Render only a little part of the image, is there any way to do it?

I rendered an entire image, but I've made an adjustment, now I just want to render a face instead of all body. Is there anyway to do it? Spot render tool does not export file as far as I know!

Thank you guys!

    When you have the spot render tool selected, go to the Tool Settings pane and choose to New Window. Then drag the spot render tool in the viewport to outline the area to render. This is handy for rendering a small area after you fix some trivial detail. Then you can composite the spot render into the main image with an image editor like Photoshop, without having to rerender the whole scene.

    Thanks, I didn't understand this until I actually tried it out. It's not very obvious.

    Tools -> Spot Render
    Window -> Panes (Tabs) -> Tool Settings
    Active Tool -> Spot Render
    Render To: New Window

    You will still drag the mouse in the viewport, but this send the results to your render window (setup in Render Settings).

    Oh, and when you bring the rendered image into Photoshop (or whatever program you're using), flatten the image before you copy and paste it over the original, then cut away the white frame you don't want. This will drop the new rendered section directly on top of the old section without having to finagle it into position.

    Thanks, the new window is an important part I would have never found

    On the tip to flatten the image, rather than flatten, paint or fill the upper left and lower right corners, that will locate the pasted image, easer to remove, especially important if not a rectangle
