Are you trying to find out how to load a texture onto an OBJ model that you loaded yourself?

To use Genesis, you need to go to the Content Library pane, and select DAZ Studio Formats > My DAZ 3D Library > People, and Genesis should be in there.

There is a User Guide here : http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/userguide/start

Did you use the DAZ Install Manager to install your content?

If so, look in the DIM 'Installed' tab to see if they were installed. If you find them there, select one of them, right click, and select 'Installed Files'. That will tell you what has been installed, and where it was installed to.

DIM, by default, installs to C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library, and you must enter that path into DAZ Studio to tell it where the content is. Go to Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager, and make sure that the path to that folder is listed as BOTH DAZ Studio Formats and Poser Formats.

DAZ Studio cannot see any content unless you tell it where to look. After you have entered the path to the My DAZ 3D Library, the items will appear in the Content Library pane and the Smart Content pane inside DAZ Studio.

i used that daz install manager as it gives you no other option, according to the download daz manager i have 7 things installled, oh and i tried to in stall the photo shop feature and it gave me this

Install Manager cannot find a required path. The installer for "Photoshop 3D Bridge for DAZ Studio 4.5+ (Win 64-bit)" requires that the installed path for "Photoshop CS6, CS5, CS4 (64-bit)" be defined. Make sure that a path for this application is present on the "Applications" page of the "Settings" dialog, then try again.

You need to set up the path to your copy of Photoshop C2,4/5/6 if you have it, if you don't, then you don't need the plugin.

If you do have a recent version of Photoshop installed, click on the little gear icon at the top right of the DIM, and select the Applications tab, and enter the path to your copy of Photoshop.

Were you now able to find and load Genesis and Genesis 2?
