Hello,

I need some help.
Obviously my install-manager has got a wrong account information. Now it won't install my current purchsed packages.
What can I do to correct the account info in the instal manager?

I don't see any possibility to change that info in the DAZ3DIM.

Yours
Andy

When you say account info you mean the email address and password correct? Is it showing a different email address than the one you use? Are you able to add an account?

Did you log in innDIM using your current login for the DAZ Store?
Have you had multiple accounts at the DAZ store?

If you entered the wrong info just create a new account in DIM with the right info and once logged in delete the bad account - it won't affect your store account.

    Hi,

I saw, that there was a little misspell in my email address.
But I don't have any chance to correct it in the install manager. I tried to add a second one for my account name with the correct email, but install manager refused (allready exists).
I allready deinstalled the IM and reinstalled it in my next Windows session. But it still remembered the old wrong email for my account. No chance to get rid of it. Possibly somewhere stored in the registry (?)

The problem is, that some purchased packages can exclusively only be installed with install manager. No simple download of the files possible.

AFAIK the only things that can't be installed manually are the beta packages, in order to be cale to run them along side another version of the same program.

The email is the identifier, so if it wa wrong entering the correct email should create a new account. Go to Preferences, the gear icon at top-right, then click the + in Accounts to add a new account.

If you're having trouble adding a new account, go to C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\DAZ 3D\InstallManager\UserAccounts and move the files in that folder to a backup location, then restart DIM.

    Sorry,

    but not such a path.
Under my data-path (not on the system drive !! ), as specified in the settings, I have ...{User}/DAZ 3D/InstallManager/Settings/.
There is a file "AppSettings". This contains the info about CurretUser with the correct entry, but no entry for the email-ID.
    Only a cryptic ApplicationGuid.

I'm not aware that the AppData folder can be moved - it is however hidden by default, so you will need to enable the display of hidden files and folders in ControlP Panel>Folder Options>View tab, assuming you are using Windows (Vista+ - in XP it's C:\Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\\DAZ 3D\InstallManager\UserAccounts; I'm not sure where it is on a Mac)

    Hi Richard,

yes, I'm using Windows. But that's not the point.
I have the owner and admin rights of my system so I see all paths. Simply the file structure of DAZ & co is totally different to what you described.

And the fact is: Even totally deleting everything and restarting Windows the new downloaded installmanager still finds the wrong information somewhere on the mashine and refuses to add a new account.
Installmanager don't have a usefull menu entry where the existing account entries can be reworked. This should be added for future releases.
