No Michael 6

I bought the Micheal 6 bundle and installed it, but when I open DS, I can't find it. I saw there was a DS listed in the install manager so I installed it, but I still can't find Michael. I also installed the Genesis 2 Male starter pack. I don't see a Genesis 2 in the people either. Am I suppose to? All I see is Genesis.

    Looks like you have Genesis loaded and selected, not Genesis 2.

    Delete that figure from the scene and on smart content, select -> figures then look for either Genesis 2 male or Michael 6.

    Did you let DIM install it while DAZ Studio was open? Look in the content library and see if its in DAZ Studio Format. If you installed it while DS was open you'll need to re-import your metadata

    No. Daz Studio was closed, but I didn't have the latest version. When I couldn't find Michael 6, I wondered if there was a newer version. I checked and there was one in DIM so I installed it. How do I re-import the meta data? Also, how do I know where DIM is installing things. I used to install everything manually. But I've been updating everything with DIM. Maybe DS isn't pointed to the library where DIM is installing the content. Or would DIM update automatically?

    OK. I found him. I had to go to the content libraries on the right side and then I found Genesis 2. When I added him to the scene, then I was able to see Michael 6 and the other content that I have installed. Daz Studio does open with Genesis 1 loaded. Is that why the Genesis 2 content doesn't show on the left side of the screen with all the other smart content?

    Yes, because not only does DS load with Genesis 1 in the scene, it loads with Genesis selected. And when Genesis is selected in the scene, the only* things that should show in Smart Content should be Genesis 1 content.

    *With some exceptions, like some environments, light presets and camera presets I think...

    If you just unselect Genesis, you should be able to find the Genesis 2 content. I currently don't have Genesis 1, G2M, or G2F set to load when I start Studio, so all my content shows.
