I ‘am a complete newbee to DAZ and I have a problem transfering from DAZ 4.6 to iClone everytime I try iClone crashes I have been in touch with iClone support and they keep telling to do below.

Did you set the timeline in DAZ at a value of 1FPS before applying the Duf file?

After that, if you deselect the “Subdivisions” options it will prevent 3DXchange from crashing when opening the FBX file.

The problem I have I ‘am not to sure were to look to complete the tasks can anyone help please.

I have been working on that for some time, I will try to help.

So, in DAZ, you have the timeline, which should be at the bottom of your screen. At the right of your timeline, you have a box titled FPS. Make sure this is set to 1 before you drag and drop your .duf file into your DAZ character.

For the subdivisions option, this is what appears in the export window when you export your character to FBX format. In that window, deselect the subdivision.

    Hope that helped.

also hide body parts covered by clothes
click on eye icon in scene heirarchy
biggest cause of crashing is often big bump textures, try doing low rez versions and adding afterwards in 3dxchange
irfanview will batch convert, save to a new folder, do not overwrite originals (think it will not by default anyway)
add prop hair in iClone, export it seperately
texture atlas can also be used if needed to create new uv mapping and one single texture for figure
