hi, i saw free for d/l here on this site around 2009 or so bryce 5.5, so I d/l it and for a while I had the installer backed up on a dvd/external hard drive, but now I cannot find it anywhere. I think I may have accidentally deleted it, and now I cannot find the d/l link on google anywhere. that is, when I type bryce 5.5 in google's search bar, press enter, I get listings for bryce 5.5 but each time i go to these listings they turn out to be web pages with listing for various other software, i mean there's no more direct d/l links for bryce 5.5.

problem is, back when I was using bryce 5.5 I brought this book titled "real world bryce 4" by Susan A Kitchens but now I guess I can no longer use that book since it looks like I can no longer d/l bryce 5.5

can anyone help me?

thanks in advance.

It was updated years ago ... http://www.daz3d.com/bryce/bryce-7-pro is the available version now. The book you have probably will still have some value as not everything has changed. Lots of improvements and it comes with some content too.

    Hello angelscruise

If you 'bought' the free version of Bryce 5.5 here in the store, it will still be available in your My Account area under Product Library, along with anything else you ever bought here.

I have the Bryce 4 book as well, and so do most of the serious Brycers on the forums here, it is still an excellent resource, even though we are up to version 7 now as Patience55 pointed out. Here is a link to the current version in the store : http://www.daz3d.com/bryce-7-pro/

Agree. We actually still recommend that New Users try and get a copy of Real World Bryce 4, as it is still the best book that has ever been published about Bryce. The only things that have changed to any reall great extent are the new features which have been added, so Trees and metaballs in Bryce 5 and and the new lights etc in Bryce 6 and 7.

The people in the Bryce forum are always happy to help New users (and returning old users) to get to grips with the program and the newer features.

There currently is no legal free version of Bryce
