Posing a violin is hard, not sure still whether to anchor the instrument at the hand or chin or both from time to time, I guess the instrument has to be stable while the body moves around it
I don't know why, but I want him to be wearing fingerless gloves.
Busy, busy, busy in The Complaint Thread while I've been gone.
All I did was this. "Jamila"
Goood Mornin

complainnnt - wanted to make a hoody for mildog. when i bring his obj into wings, his body parts are in a bizillion pieces. like a hundred hip scraps and etc. discouraged  >:-( don't know if it's a wings bug or the mildog wasn't welded or something?
I see you fiddled with it a lot!
I doubt it's a bug, but more rather how Wings handles Wavefront OBJ imports.
Cinema 4D (Every version too. Even in R14 and R15) has the same problem when importing Poser OBJs - the mesh is split into every joint region and the object is way too small.
There's a plugin for C4D that handles OBJ imports much better, even keeping the mesh one piece (Is that really so hard?) and scaling it up prior to import, but I dunno about Wings.
Example, importing a dragon freebie:

it might help to scale it up on import? Thanks, worth a try.
they use to say poser prefers quads over tris, is it still true?
is DS okay with triangles?
it's more fun to start a new model with the geodome, which is all triangles.
ballz
i remember my grade school violin having a little chin rest toward the bottom end of it. :)
Ballz -tee hee. Geoff Peterson used to say Ballz all the time.
picture ballz was meant to accompany
tried importing mildog scaled to 4.0. hmm, the mildong, ooops mildog, doesn't have armpits. my bubby's legs aren't melded to his torso, he has shoulders.
Running of the pooches
and Roos.
Roo sneakers  wantz!
Nice work!
Dana
+1
Cheating a little cos warm colours are easy on the eye, and that 3:2 aspect ratio composes itself heh
Pretty sure the clothes models were $2 from the Daz store, the braces are a dead giveaway :)
Yeah, looks like Working Man for M4 in the PC.
Dana
Is that actually a violin model, or one of the larger cousins scaled down? I don't see the chin pad on there.
Dana
I don't know why, but I want him to be wearing fingerless gloves.
You mean like Leslie West used to do? (band was Mountain...biggest hit, Mississippi Queen)
Dana
Very nice.

collllld. thaz when pee turns to icikles before it hits the ground.
In those temperatures, I think more than the pee would turn to ice...and hit the ground. :bug:
Dana
Deep. :-P
Dana
now I discovered tool settings, bone tool, weightbrush and child bones I am doing weird things to my poor genesis
I thought legs should be under buttock?
the weight tool was sneering at me %-P
still looking for the old snow bikini. found a couple old favorites.
gonna try running mildog through uvmapperclassic to see of it helps.
does mildog even want a hoody at this point? doh.
