Whoever's operating this place, they must have connections to the George Lucas lack of Health & Safety Inspectorate (see the big fight at the end of Star Wars Episode 1)... :smirk:

He's been fired and the railing was added ;)
But the new guy put wires all over the floor lol
Fight Set Update
Decided to add the bar to fill the upstairs area a bit more, I think it looks good.
The lights hanging from the ceiling (there's no ceiling shhh) are from P3DAs Cage I purchased however long ago.
The banners and posters are not textured (obviously) I plan on some sort of advertising for each fighter on the posters and the "promotions" logo or event ads on the banners.
The wires on the floor "that you can barely see lol) need more work, so don't pay attention to that ;)
I also hid the glass for testing, takes forever lol
I know I said I wanted something between Fight Club and the UFC, I might still do that at a later date, but I think I'm gonna go the way of the early days in mma (smaller venues, sometimes clubs)
I also decided to play with some lighting. UE2, 1 distant light and one linear point light with falloff.
Keep in mind that the "focus" of the lighting will be on the cage and that everything else will be a lot darker.
The upstairs area will have a lot of figures crowding the railings to watch the fight, so a lot of what you see up there will be covered by the crowd.
I also realize there is no door to the cage, they climb ;)
Looking good — if I was into that kind of thing I'd definitely want to know where I could get a ticket.
That's why there's a bar ;)
Anyone know what's going on with Adam Thwaites (MostDigitalCreations) Championship belt?
I load it into Daz and it loads as invisible. I checked the textures and opacity and they're both ok.
Anyone have any experience with invisible props?
I used it in DS3 way back when and it worked fine.
I'm on DS4.6 (64bit) now...
Edit: Nevermind, I got this lol
Luckily, the belt was mostly just a texture. Using displacements/bumps and maybe end up making a spec map, I can pretty much make a whole new belt lol
It's just a test. Need to smooth out the displacement map a bit more and I'm really not liking the "gold".
I also need to replace the square pieces and figure out why the belt is ripping open (probably my amazing weight mapping skills lol)
Pretty simple Championship, but it works :)
Belt Update
Texture, Displacement and Spec maps are done, though some tweaks may be needed.
Anyway, here's a shot of the original, then one without the spec map and one with the spec map.
Also, Big thanks to Adam Thwaites, for not only making what seems to be the ONLY championship for Daz/Poser, but also making it a freebie ;)
Fight Set Update
It's finally starting to look like a fight scene :)
The posters are not exactly final, still want to add some text to make it look more like an ad.
Unless I find something I like better, the banners are probably final, though I might add some hanging from the railings.
The wires are still there, just hard to see since I made them a lot thinner. (You can sorta follow them at the bottom of the steps)
Right now though, I'm going to go for my first serious test render :) (Mostly so I don't feel "stuck" on this)
I plan on rendering in layers, not much choice considering how many figures I plan on having lol
I'll work on everything as if it was a final render, that way I can get more of a picture of what will work or what will not.
Here's hoping it gets done in the next 24hours lol
