DIM and multiple accounts - SolVed

Okay ... I downloaded/installed DIM for my major account.

Can/should one install run a second DIM to use with the archaic account?

Will they become one confused DIM ... can both install to the same downloads folder?


edit... or brainwave hit ... could I just sign in on the first install of DIM with the 2nd account's info?

    You can download using multiple accounts on the same DIM install Yes, but you can't access more than one at a time
    But they can all coexist once installed.

    Just click on the your name just above the password filed that is currently set up and select add account

    Okay ... so far this has been a positive experience.

    About products that are not downloadable via DIM ... um, we would still have to hunt through the Product file looking for those, correct?

    .dsx files

    in Downloads ... fine
    in ManifestFiles also when installed

    so if I just slide all the zips out of the Downloads this would still leave DIM working as it thinks it should, correct?

    ....

    just received answer :-) DIM recognizes updates for files downloaded but not installed.
