I have actually been using Daz for quite some time and absolutely LOVE this program! I have tried others, but the user interface and ease of use makes it my favorite. I am 30, and do this as a hobby. I do have a quick question though..............I need to know a great starter program for a young child interested in this type of art.............photoshop perhaps? The young child is interested in learning how to render but I do feel that ahem this can be a bit adult content, artistic nudity is done at times, however............this is a young child and I would like something appropriate, and child friendly to use

For a young child to start in DAZ 3D I think a fun place to start would be the TOON characters. Plenty of it here and family friendly.

Yes, My son made up a portfolio of toon characters for his daughter to start playing herself.
