Hi, I am new here and I have a question
I had this program once when it was like 4.0 or something, then I uninstalled it because I had no use for it.
Now I need it again and I am having trouble installing it.
What I did:
Download the install manager (1.0.1.90)
Log in using the install manager
Download and install the normal daz 4.6 package (daz studio, genesis starters GoZ, subsurface shaders) with the install manager.
After it installed, I tried to open it, but I gives me a resource error every time I try to open anything.
Start up:
"Could not open the start up scene : C:/User/****(name)****/Documents/DAZ 3D/Studio/MyLibrary/People/Genesis/Genesis.duf
File does not exist"
When I open a file, I get:
"An error occurred while reading the file, see the log file for more details"
Plz help. Thank you

Did you also download and install the Genesis Starter Essentials?
Yes.
Installed List:
Daz studio 4.6 Win 32 bit
Genesis starter essentials
Genesis starter essentials poser CF
GOZ for daz studio 4.5+
subsurface shader base
Genesis 2 female start essentials
Genesis 2 female start essentials P...
Copied directly from the install manager installed list
You need to point the DS Content Manager to the Path of the My DAZ 3D Library folder like this...
Is that in DAZ or the install manager?.
nvm found it
I did what Jaderail said, I checked all the library links They are all there, but I still cant open the files
I also checked "C:/User/****(name)****/Documents/DAZ 3D/Studio/MyLibrary/People/Genesis/Genesis.duf" The location is nonexistent. Where does the install manager put them?
My Library is not The DIM library. As I pointed out the DIM one id My DAZ 3D Library. If you Start scene is not loading the is different
In The Preferences go to and set that to this... Your location will be where your My DAZ 3D Library is on your PC.
The DIM by default, installs to C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library. If you used DIM and did not change the install path, then that is where your content will be installed to.
Just add that path to the Content Directory Manager as well.
Sorry XPost :)
Thank you for your help. it work now :)
