What Kind Of File Is This ExpCF Thing???

Otherworldly Wonders - Tanwen ExpCF

I know what Poser and DS Companion Files are, but what the heck is a EXP Companion File?
My first thought was "export"

    Also, why are there some numbered files missing? 15 is gone, 18 is gone, etc

    From the product page

    This Product uses ExP technology.

    Otherworldly Wonders Tanwen MUST be installed to the same Runtime location as Victoria 4.2 in order to work.
    Victoria 4.2 must be initialized for this morph add on to work.

    This is an older product, and does state that the materials will need editing in DS, So it presumably was originally a Poser only product.

    Thanks, appreciate it. Tried to post earlier but I kept getting error messages. Might relay to DAZ that the website was offline for over an hour in the middle of the afternoon yesterday- the Cloudfare in Miami could not connect to the site. It might be closer to two hours, I gave up. Then the forums today were along the lines of cannot process message at this time for over 45 minutes.
