I have never used genitalia before so tonight I decided to see what they look like and when I attached them they show up gray. I have genesis male and female and genesis 2. If I click on the genital prop there are no materials available.
For female figures, you just apply the same texture you put on the rest of the body to the geograft. (Make sure you do have it selected, you can't do it by just clicking in the Viewport unless you right-click — it's just like selecting fitted-to clothes). For male figures... you might be kind of stuck, because they do need an extra texture. Some male texture sets have it, some don't. Check the store pages/readme's carefully.
Incidentally, it's impossible to skip this step because when you add the geograft, the program can't pick up the texture from the existing figure. There are too many possible variables to make this an automatic process.

Apply the material preset you're using on the body to the genitalia.

OK thanks. I had tried that but nothing showed up under smart Content. Works fine with content library.
I will have you know sir, that my genitals are perfectly skin coloured.
Good day!
