I've tried installing V4 with the Daz installer. The materials show up in the content library but the base figure (actor) doesn't. When I look at the installer where it has the list of things that can be uninstalled, the installed to location is: users/public/documents/my Daz 3D Library. ??? If this isn't right, how do I change it? And how do I set where the installer puts things. I also wanted to install to Poser but I there is nothing listed in "Ready to install" list. HELP!!!

The 4th Generation figures are in Poser format -- you'll find them in Poser Formats > My DAZ 3D Library > Figures > DAZ People

So far as the studio goes, our art thread addressed how to customize your content so you can have the figures listed in the Products list in the Content Library, and how you can "categorize" them to customize your categories. You basically can right click and select "add a product" and the product will appear in the alphabetical listings under Product. Categorize will let you put it in a category that you have created. It's fun!
