What does this directory do?

Hello!
I've got a lot of files in a directory called DAZ other\Runtime\support - it's mostly product images. What's it for really?

    It's metadata used by CMS/smart content in daz studio.

    Those are the metadata files for the products (the source for re-importing them or for exporting/re-importing user data).

    It is used only if you need to reimport metadata, to rebuild the CMS database after a problem or if you want tos tart over for example (or if you manually install and then import metadata - but using the Install Manager the items are added directly to the database).

    Does this mean I can zip these files together or move them somewhere else, since they are beginning to take up a lot of room on the harddrive?

    Yes, they are needed only when (or if) you reimport Metadata via the Content DB Maintenance dialogue.
