Advanced Spotlight

hello,
I am too silly. how works the "Advanced Spotlight" by age of armour??????
must I connect it with a surface or an other daz-light? I find in the light settings of this light only "light color" and "light intensity".
By using this light only, the render is "black".

There is a problem with this light set. Age of Armour is sorting it out now. There is a thread in the Commons about this.
