I have a "totally noob" question regarding setting transparency using the surfaces tab in Daz Studio.
For example, let's say I want to have a semi-transparent top. On the materials tab in Poser, I can simply set the transparency. However, in Daz Studio, I am not finding where to change that value?
I'm sure it's something simple, but I am not seeing/finding it. What setting to I change to set transparency?
Thanks in adavnce

It's called Opacity for 3DL standard shaders, and Cutout Opacity for Iray uber shader
Opacity/Cutout Opacity (depending on the sahder applied). Because DS uses Opacity and Poser Transparency the results with intermediate values will not match - for example if you set both to 50% and apply a map the Poser surface will vary between fully opaque and half transparent while the DS surface will vary between fully transparent and half transparent.
Thank you both!!
I'll have to play around with the surfaces tab more...
Thank you, i was searching for the same answer.
