I am hardly a new user but often i find myself feeling that i know nothing. So The first thing i would like to know is, is the version of DS which is DS4.6.0.18 Pro the most up to date version. If not how can i download the most recent version, and if the future, how can i tell when a newer version is released.

I think 4.6.1.7 is the latest (with a 4.6.2.? beta version also available). How to keep tabs on what is the latest you could install DS via DIM and let it let you know (requires you to spark up DIM every now and again) or you could keep your eyes on the forums, new releases do get announced.

    Hello,

if you happen to use the daz install manager, i think it will alert you when the program is updated. Otherwise you can go to my account-> product library and search for "studio", press the manual download button and check if the file name has a different number (it's up to 4.6.1.17 atm).

And usually there is an announcment in the commons when a new version is available.

    Cheers,
    Elele.

    EDIT: Simon'd :bug:

No need to press the button and download, just hover the pointer over it and look at the end of the file name that comes up at the bottom of your browser window. The installer name includes the full version number.
