When playing a work in progress how do you stop the timeline slider at the end of the of the timelin
When playing a file I'm working on I want the timeline slider to stop at the end of the timeline and stay there and not jump back to zero. Is it possible? It would be nice to be able to stop the timeline slider in the middle just after a part that I'm having trouble with. Is it possible to have an .avi file do the same thing, stop at the end and stay there instead of winking out?

click the arrow and slide it by hand
do the same in your .avi player
In which application? In DAZ Studio, click the Loop button (left-most button, shows an oval with arrows on top and bottom straights) to switch looping off - it turns into two lines with arrows (it still jumps to the first frame after reaching the end, though, it just doesn't play again). You can use the Range boxes to cotrnol which frames are played.
thx Richard for that hint-as i'm always only work with animate2 i totally forgot about the rangeboxes in daz timeline
i miss a start Animation tool in animate2 though
Start Animation as in Play in AniMate or Start from Frame number? From frame It does not have but Play is there as well as Loop or single play through as well as jump to start or end.
in animate2 is an "End of Animation" slider
would be very handy to have that too for "Start of Animation"
but the boxes in the daz timeline is a Workaround now for me
would be very nice if gofigure could update this just like the Rotation issue
but i think he's not interested
