(SOLVED)?? on distributing scene subsets that contain purchased products.

I've got a scene subset that I'd like to distribute, but it contains AoA's Adv Ambient Lighting. If I distribute the subset, can I safely keep the AAL in the subset, and it just won't load for people who don't have the product, or would I be risking distributing the light with the subset?

You can uninstall the Advanced Ambient Light and then try to load the Scene Subset and see what happens.

I was actively using it at the time, so I figured I'd post the question and hope for an answer before I was done. lol

What seems to happen is the AAL object is still present in the scene when I merge the subset, but none of the custom parameters are available. Only light color and intensity since those are available to default lights as well.

I think I'll just create what I'm doing as a tutorial w/ mat presets so I don't get bombarded with questions about why the AAL in the subset isn't working. Less confusion. lol

The shader has been saved as an asset, and the presets will point to that (as long as you haven't edited it in Shader Mixer) so they can safely be shared.
