help with hair please

This has happened to me several times with different hair that was made for V4 ...this is V4 and I figured if you could show me how to fix it on this one ...maybe it would work on the others that I am having problems with......Thanks in advance...Trish

    Did you have V4 or the head selected when you loaded the hair in. It looks like it isn't parented

    I right clicked and selected head.......and I did select head before I brought it in.....

    Is it the true V4 or the V4 shape for Genesis?

    Its lanthe for V4......If I could somehow grab it and pull it up??? I did it again to make sure the head was selected

    Which version of the are you using, .cr2/.pp2/.dsf?

    Looks like you are loading the Genesis version of the hair on V4? The icon in front of the hair in the scene tab definitely indicates TriAx weight mapping (same technology Genesis uses). There should be a cr2 (and also prop) for the actual V4 version according to the product page.

    Thank you very much I would have never thought to look for it under the creators name .....This just gets me confused sometimes...It works now ...I appreciate the help Trish
