    Do you have V4 and her morphs in the same runtime?

    If so, is there another copy of V4 in another runtime?

    One of those statements is almost certainly the problem...

    I figured it out. The installer won't let you install into a folder without the poser.exe file in it. But Poser Pro is obvious;y names different. So, I would select the DAZ Studio install, and install into what ever folder I wanted, thus not installing all the files in the right place. Sooooo, you have to just crreate a notepad or simple text file named poser.exe, drop it into what ever runtime you want, THEN run the POSER installer, and ALL is good. Hope this helps future users. :)

    I just put a text file called Poser.exe in every runtime folder. Also, you shouldn't be installing content into the Poser program folder these days.

    However, DAZ doesn't use the installers any more, so it's no longer an issue; you can get the zips from your account's Product Library. Just remember when installing them that the root directory of the zip contains the folder 'Content', which contains the runtime folder...

    I am going though a similar problem, as well on a mac. My runtime was created with the installer form daz... I changed the permissions and I got a bunch of pz2 files (with the name of bodyparts I see no file with the name of tht morphs), the morphs appear in poser under the poses section however still nothing happens after injecting them.

    Could anyone explain what those scripts are actually doing? the main program is a binary file so whatever it does is hard to guess.

    I originally was using daz studio, but recently bough Poser pro, I am using the runtime from daz.. do I need to install victoria 4 in the original runtime from poser?

    No luck for me, I went through a big situation to get genesis working because of DSON crashes, and now v4 wont work either..
    any advise appreciated...

    You don't need to install V4 in the original Poser runtime, you just need to make sure the DS runtime is added to Poser. What are some of those files named with body parts? That sounds like you're seeing the hidden support files, which means your runtimes aren't set up properly.

    The morphs in the Pose library activate the parameter dials, but do not set values -- after injecting the morphs you need to go to the Parameters tab and set the dial to the desired value.

    yes I understood that you first load the injection and then go to the dials... the problem is that there are no dials.

    I don't know why the runtime would't be properly installed, it does work in daz studio, and I added it to poser, is there some science about runtime installation that I should know? So far I tried to read around and don't find the issue...

    It works now, after making a general permission change in the entire DzCreateExPFiles.app/ folder, on all its files and directories.

    First, thanks to all you helpers!  I've been scouring threads to find out my issues with v4.2 and her morphs.  I recently had to roll back my mac from sierra to yosemite for daw hardware issues, and in the process had to reinstall all my software (had not used time machine :(...  )  ANYHOW, I instaled Poser first, then all my content, without installing Daz (personally don't care for Daz).  After reading this thread and installing Daz, uninstalling content, then reinstalling into "My Daz Library" runtime, still no luck.  V4.2 acts like morhs are loading, and certain body parts' morphs work, but no full body morphs, other than the two "male" body morphs.

    So, to recap, right now, I have Daz installed, content ONLY in the Daz folder which is then selected in Poser as the runtime.  No success.

    Any ideas?

    Sounds like you to need to reinitialize V4 using the .command scripts in the runtime/Libraries/!DAZ folder
