DAZ Studio & Compatible File Types

Hello, I’m new to Studio and I had a question about models by other developers… Will the DAZ Studio 4.6 Pro software open models/props that use Poser, Vue, Bryce or OBJ files?

    I can't tell you about Vue or Bryce, but it can open Poser .pp2 and earlier .cr2 files (not the ones generated by the last couple of versions IIRC, but I'm willing to be corrected on that if someone who uses Poser would like to chime in). It does import obj files, and that's actually the standard basis for rigging for many of us. Poser materials are not formatted for DS and don't look right in terms of specular and bump settings; advanced shaders are completely lost.

    Im only two weeks into DAZ3D myself but found and inported a .OBJ files as a prop yesterday without any problems.
    Im finding myself that understanding DAZ3D can include a lot of trial and error
