Daz Studio Help F1

I'm trying to figure out how to do very simple things with Daz3d right now. I tried to use Help to figure out how to set the background to white with no grid I went to the Help drop down menu and selected Daz Studio Help F1 but it contained absolutely nothing. It was totally void of information. What's going on here?

I'm trying to learn Daz3d because a friend of mine told me I could use it to render 3d images of geometric figures. So far the help portion is useless so I'm not sure how to learn what I need to do. All I can do so far is simply create a sphere. However manipulating it to add things such as lattitude and longitude circles is beyond me. Can someone please help guide me through this mess? Thank you.

There are 11 free videos in the Store here to get you started :

DAZ Studio is a 3D package, which is used for setting up Scenes, using models with clothing and hair etc. There are free models that come with DAZ Studio called Genesis Starter Essentials and Genesis 2 Female Starter Essentials, which you will find in your My Account > Product Library area.

You can also create scenes with Props and some environments which you can also find in the store. I am not sure what you mean by Lat. and Long. circles? You cannot draw circles in DS, it is not a modelling package.

um, hmm ... well ... can't say much you know but yeah, somebody is flagging D/S as a modeler of sorts ... not truly if you can read between the lines of the ads and catch the snow job but hay .... to each their own.

Hexagon is on sale atm and is a modeling program.

I suggest that you read this section of the Web site, which tells you what Daz Studio is.
