Shader Mixer - Adding a New Brick

I have been following Zigraphix's Daz Studio 3 Advanced: Basic Shader Mixer Tutorial. This tutorial is for DAZ 3 but I managed to follow all the instructions until it came time to add the Rotator Brick.

The instructions do not correspond with DAZ 4.6 and I have not been able to figure out how to add this brick. I cannot find it anywhere in the Shader Mixer. I unhid the AppData files and verified it is located where it belongs. Just cannot bring it into Shader Mixer.

I have searched through the forums, which all say that the old tutorials can be applied to current versions, which is correct up to a point. I have searched online and through the Wiki. I cannot find ( or failed to recognize ) the answer.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

In DS4 custom brick files need to go in the "appdata/roaming/daz 3d/studio4/shadermixer/menus" folder, once the dcb file is in there DS will show it under custom bricks in the shadermixer brickyard.

Have you seen Carnite's tutorial on YouTube? It may have the answer.

Also remember that I have a list of references (the best posts, tutorials, info) for beginners to advanced users. I put it into categories to help you find things faster. I made it for ME, lol.

Thanks Bejaymac. I will try that.

Novica - I have viewed a Shader Mixer Tutorial on shadow capturing. Not sure if it is the one you are referring too. I have also perused your thread. Lots of good info.
