Render help
Know matter what preset I choose I get this lt gray frame in all of my renders. The green is a backdrop everything I work with is in the green area. I use 3dlight. I also have preview render, hardware assisted render and 3delight scripted . I think I had one or two more but do not remember. How do I get rid of the gray frame or make it smaller. Please keep it simple as I'm still learning the vocabulary and software.

For some reason I get a real good look at the frame but I can not get a good shot of it take a look at this one. If not I will just have to live with it.
Does your PC have a Graphix Card strong enough to Support DAZ Studio?
I'm a bit lost as your info is not very clear on what your doing or trying to do.
My system is over ten years old so It might be the card. When I have a render I have a gray box all around my JPG. That I have I have seen your work and others that fit my screen. With my photo view I still get the gray box. The gray box or frame is not in my work area. In the above photo my work area or background is green. When I'm working I do not see any gray. It is only after I render my work that it will show up. I do not even have to save my photo. I I have a dual core processor 4000+ my card is a Nvidia GeForce 8500 GT. Maybe the card and or my system is getting too old and failing?
Hmm... the GPU only comes into play in the Viewport or work area. I'm not sure what could cause the error at render time if your using the Full 3DeLight render engine setting in your Render settings. If your using any of the OpenGL render settings then that can be the problem as your PC does not support the version of OpenGL DAZ Studio needs.
The problem is not with DAZ Studio. If I do a slideshow of my Library or make a wallpaper of a scene. It looks great.(except the scene inside I still have a lot to learn an more to buy) I see only one 3Delight so I do not know it if is full or not. The only OpenGL I saw was with Hardware Assisted Render. It was labeled Shader (GLSL). Checking or unchecking that did not change the gray area. As long as I can make wallpapers that fill the screen Im happy.. Thank you again Jaderial now back to learning, reading the forum, and posting questions.
