Most of you probably know the answer to this but I don't so I am going to ask.....Why when you have a pose for say...M4 that it doesn't work for other people also...Is it because they are made different???? Thanks in advance Trish
A full answer, or fuller one, comes down to several factors. One is the Rigging of one figure compared to the next, that is the limits of the joint rotations and morph limits of the figure. The other big issue is the Rig itself, or the bones in other words. One figure to the next will have different lengths of the bones, legs, arms, and such. This even comes into play in some of the genesis figure shapes as they too can and do have different rotation limits and bone lengths, rigging, which are locked into the figure when that shape is dialed in.
Most of the time Poses will get very close on a genesis but may not on Gen4 to Gen4, if they work at all. It is always best to keep your figure limits locked for most normal use as that keeps the figure from getting odd mesh bends. Some poses will exceed the figures limits and you can set DAZ Studio to prompt you, preferences, if you wish to turn the limits off when you apply any pose. Then you can decide for yourself to use limits on or not. Not is needed for many poses but often they will look fine, or need some minor adjustment on your part.

Generally speaking yes. However with a little adjusting many poses can be used for other figures, esp in the same generation.

I hope this helps some.
