A question about Genesis full body morhps

Dear Community,
I'd like to ask a question. How do I make a Genesis morph that affects the whole figure only affect some parts of it? I'm working with Valandar's Reptillian morph at present. I like it but you can see it on the picture how heavily it alters the base figure.
The limbs and the head are fine, but I wish to leave the torso mostly alone. The question is, how do I make alterations? How to make a full body morph affect some parts of the body less?
Another thing, is there a good tail figure available for a Genesis figure? How would I make a decent tail for it?
Please help me out with this one, any help would be appreciated.
Sincerely,
Szabolcs85

You can't directly, as the mesh belong to the root Genesis node rather than to the limbs so there's only one modifier - and in this case a bunch of ERC linking adjustments to the joint centres to the morph control. In principle you could use a modelling tool to selectively apply the new shape to the base shape, load that as a morph, and adjust the rigging if needed, but that would require a certain degree of knowledge adn probably some morphing skill to match the morphed and unmorphed areas up.
Please don't post the same question in multiple forums - I have merged the duplicate, if you want a thread moved to a different forum please PM a mod to request that.
First, I apologize for posting in multiple threads. My mistake, I won't make it again.
Second, I'm willing to go through the process of mastering a modelling tool or software for the project if this is what it takes. Which one does the community recommend?
Trust me, when I first started using the Gen 4 Shapes it made me wonder that as well, ESPECIALLY because I have the Stephanie 4 bonus and only wanted to use a few selective contours like the S4 Elite Shape on V4.
Choice of modeller is very much a matter of taste. However, for this sort of thing you ideally want an application that will let you apply a morph to a mesh and limit the morph to only selected parts of the mesh - I'm pretty sure Blender, which si free, will do that. Hexagon, which is free from DAZ, won't as far as I know - it doesn't incorporate morphs as such, though it can of course be used to create them.
You could get almost the same shape with the Genesis Creature Creator shapes. You can build some good creatures with it. Different arms than legs ect, ect, ect...
I tried. Genesis Creature Creator IS good, but I could not achieve something similar with it.
Just a passing thought I had when I said try CC. Glad you tried, sorry it did not work.
