How do I rotate object during animation and not change it's initial direction?

I am using Animate Lite. I want an object to animate in one direction and later turn around and walk the opposite direction. I've added key frames at start and one before and after the rotation to change his course, but it changes the rotation direction for the whole track. I was going to attempt a sub-track, but Animate Lite won't let me add one. Any advice? Thanks!

In AniMate light I think you can only do this with three different Aniblocks, one for forward a second for the turn around only and then another forward again, as the item would then be facing the proper direction after the turn.
I was hoping he could turn around via a transition with the aniblock I'm using by rotating him on a key frame. Otherwise, it would be either a large circular turn or turn in place. Could I adjust properties to fix this? Are there restrictions like this with Animate2? Thanks!
The power of Animate is the AniBlocks and Stacking them. As AniMate Lite will not create new AniBlocks I'm not sure what your options are. In AniMate2 I would just make a new AniBlock for the Turn in place and use it. I do not believe AniMate lite will do what you need. You could copy the AniBlock so you Have a backup and then Edit the KeyFrames in the AniBlock if Lite opens that part. I use the Full AniMate 2 so I can not check that for you. I also could do that on the DAZ Studio Timeline with KeyMate and not need AniMate at all. I own all the Animation plugins for DAZ Studio. I liked what I saw and decided they were worth it to me.
I was going to buy Animate2 but the sale ended. Waiting for it to go on sale again. I've already invested a lot of money in content for DAZ and not sure if its even going to be adequate for me to use yet so trying to budget my resources for it. I appreciate all the helpful feedback you give me Jaderail :)
