Noob Question Trying to Locate Plebeian and Stephanie 3 Starter Pack
Installed Stephanie 3 Petite Starter pack and Plebeian via install manager but do not seem to be able to utilise.
Any pointers as to where to look or if I'm missing something will be appreciated......it does not require any other base or something does it?.
Oh by the way, Genesis Starter Bundle and Victoria 4.2 Bundles are also installed.
Thanks in advance :-)
Edit
OK, I have found Plebeian under Products/Wardrobe so now I just need to locate Stephanie 3 Petite

Stephanie Petite is in Poser Format, so you will find it in the Content Library pane, under Poser Formats > My DAZ 3D Library > Figures > DAZ People.
It may not have Metadata (checking for that now), and if not, it wont appear in the Smart Content pane. No, it doesn't have Metadata so you will need to look in the Content Library pane.
Thanks JimmyC.
Followed your lead but all I can find here is:
Basic child, basic female and basic male
Genesis 2 base female
Genesis
V4 Dev example
V4 Dev foundation
V4.2 to V3
Victoria 4.2
How did you install Stephanie, using the DIM?
If so, go to the Installed tab in DIM, find Stephanie, select it, right click, and select Installed Files. That will tell you the Library it was installed to, AND what folders all the files were installed into.
You MUST look in Content Library NOT Smart Content. And you must look under Poser Formats ONLY.
OK, thanks very much.
I have found them....they were identified by !SP which was throwing me.
However both INJ and REM morph files contain icons !All Body and !All Head which have red backgrounds and and egg timer symbol - see attached.
Am I correct to assume that this is because something is missing?
Edit
I thought the Stephanie 3 Petite Starter Pack was a stand alone product but now doubt it.
If I need another product could somebody please advise with a link?
No, it means "this will load all morphs all at once, be prepared for a long wait". Of course, SP3 and her morphs were created years ago, when people used less powerful/capable computers and a less powerful version of Poser (this was before DAZ|Studio came out, there was only Poser), so on a modern computer running D|S4.6 "a long wait" won't be very long at all.
Also, you're not seeing the figure because you're looking in the wrong place. See in your screenshot, where you have the "Pose" folder highlighted? That means you're only looking at the poses (which include morph INJ files). You need to be looking at the SP3 figure, which is in the "Figures" folder (there will be a "DAZ People" folder in there, I think — been a while since I looked at a clean installation, I've changed all my folders around for a custom runtime layout).
You do have the complete standalone set, it's just spread about a bit; it follows the old Poser file layout rules, which were sometimes a bit awkward, to say the least.
Many thanks for replying SpottedKitty.
I checked out as you advised and this is what I have in the Figures/DAZ People - see attached - no sign of Stephanie Petite.
I tried clicking on the other red icons shown in the previous post but nothing happens on my new high end pc - the importing !All Body.pz2 message never updates.
The egg timer symbols are always showing on the red icons when I open the window - I have not clicked on the icons / started the import to make the timer symbols show.
Okay, finally figured it out. The good news is, there's nothing wrong with how you installed the SP3 Starter Pack. The bad news is, the Starter Pack doesn't include SP3 herself — that's why you can't find the figure, or the basic sets of poses and textures that came with it. Unless you want to buy the base figure, you'll probably want to call in for a refund.
Annoying, I know, some of those earlier store items had kinda... basic product descriptions that take a bit of reading between the lines to understand.
Thanks SpottedKitty...that's kind of what I thought from my first post.
I had already unzipped each download file and noted that every readme said they needed S3 which contradicted the S3P product description.
I will consider gettingSP3 depending on the cost....but could somebody be kind enough to give me a link to the required package to make this work?.
I tried trawling the store with searches for Stephanie 3 and S3 when I first ran into the problem, but did not see anything that I thought was the correct item.
If I need to, how do I go about getting a refund as there are some additional purchases that were made dependant on SP3 (Plebeian)?
Here she is. Note that Gen3 base figures like this sometimes pop up as a Fastgrab or in a special sale offer, so if you're not in a hurry, just pop her into your wishlist and wait. This month's upcoming big Platinum Club sale is a possibility — PC membership isn't what it used to be, but for many of us long-timers it's still worth it.
As for getting a refund, use the Help>Contact Us link at the top of this page to submit a Help Request. Fill in all the details, especially the order number, and set the Contact Department drop-down to Sales Support. Important note: say precisely whether you want an actual PayPal/credit/debit card refund or store credit (the credit is almost instant, the others might be delayed a few hours... or days... by your bank's, or PayPal's, procedures that DAZ can't do anything about). You should get an answer within a few days, excluding weekends and US holidays.
Thanks very much SpottedKitty and JimmyC for taking your time to help me out with this :-)
