This is what I did: In window I del. some DUF (test scenes test 1 test 2 ect). files that I know longer used. Under smart content in unassign I had icons with a explanation mark in scenes that I del. I used reset database to try to remove the icons. But I removed all my smart content.
My Content library is fine but I do not like to use it. How can I get my smart content back. (trying to lean everything with out posting a lot of q's on the board.)

    Re-import meta data?
Otherwise you might need to re-install with DIM

You need to go to the same place where you reset the database (Content DB Maintenance), and use the Re-Import Metadata option, that should populate your Smart Content pane again.

The exclamation marks mean that there are Orphaned File references, so, after you reimport the Metadata, you could run that option too if there are still yellow triangles beside some of your content.
