DForms with clothing

Hey Everyone,

I'm curious, is it possible to use DForms to affect clothing. I tried adding a DForm to the top scope of a clothing model and the sphere did not highlight any points, neither did transforming the dformer move any points. Is there something different with clothing, still just a rigged mesh right? No different than a figure is it?

thanks

I'm going to assume you are working with DS4 and Genesis.

That being the case, you can save yourself much grief by applying the DFormer while the model is in the default "T" position. Once it is applied, it will follow the character in whatever pose you apply and remain in the correct position and you will be able to manipulate it according to need.

If the character has been posed and moved before you apply the DFormer, then you have to imagine that it is in the "T" position to try and figure out where to move the field.
