DS 4.6 Frezes when adjusting/ modifying textures... HELP!
Okay, first if this has been covered I apologize. For six month I have had this issue and I am soooo tempted to go back to DS 3.X and give up on 4.6. The issue is this: after four or five (sometimes ten) adjustments to textures and doing spot renders to check the effect, the whole program just freezes. I lose all of my work and have to start over. Not fun. I have gotten in the habit of saving frequently ( as DS HAS NO auto save function) but it does break up the flow and sometimes when I am on a roll I just forget.
Firstly, I do not believe this is a graphics or hardware issue. I have to mid-level high memory graphics card running and eight very frisky processors drawing their little hearts out. The graphics are fine. The test renders all come out fine. The issue pops up randomly when I am adjusting or modifying textures only. Posing, morphing, etc. have not been an issue.
Is anyone else having this issue?
