Lighting - Inane Glory's Photo Studio (DS 4.6)

I've hit a problem with this, and I'm not sure if I'm missing something, or just trying to do something that can't be done.
I set up a scene, use one of the lighting presets, spot render, and it's fine. If I do a full render using 3Delight, or Luxus to Luxrender, it's fine.
If I save to RIB, then render using the stand alone version of 3Delight - no lighting, just black!
(I prefer to render this way, 'cause I get virtually no crashes, as I do when rendering inside DS.)

Any advice would be much appreciated.

The stand alone version of 3Delight is currently a very old version. I have noticed that there is an incompatibility with UberArea lights in DS 4.6 and that old version of the stand alone 3Delight. In my tests with area lights the scenes came out much darker, not black, when I used the stand alone 3Delight. Since Inane Glory’s lights are based on the same shader, I'm not surprised they don't work very well either.

I'm not sure what can be done about this. DS 4.6.0.18 (the release version) uses 3Delight 10.0125. The 4.6.1.14 Beta version use 3Delight 10.0.170. The free download of the stand alone version is still 10.0.50, but there is now a notice on the 3Delight site that version version 11.0 will be available by Oct 1st. I'm not sure if version 11.0 will be compatible with DS, but I assume it will be sometime in the future.

Thanks for that. - I'll try out the new version when it's available.
